ABOUT US

I graduated from OSU and raised a family before going back to get another degree in nursing from OHSU. I also got my certification in Legal Nurse Consulting at U of A. I am a BSN, RN, LNC with medical/surgical, orthopedic, pre/post-surgery, PACU, and pediatric experience. I have worked in clinical and hospital settings. My passion to pursue new aspects of nursing emerged after my daughter was permanently injured within the medical system in the end of 2018. Since getting new certifications, I have had opportunities to help people outside of a medical facility learn about their rights, health, and safety as they navigate the ever-changing medical industry. My education background is instrumental in teaching about the options patients have so they can make their own healthcare decisions. 

I am an Oregon native, and have been blessed to live close to our extended family. I am married (over 30 years), have 3 grown children, and my faith is my foundation. When we aren't doing projects in and around our home, I can be found on the golf course, traveling, scuba diving, or laughing with friends. 

It is my desire to use my skills to help people through uncertain health related circumstances in the most positive way possible. By replacing fear with education, they are given back some control. We can't take anything with us, but we can leave a legacy of care and integrity. It is my dream that someday we will have multiple RN's on my team who share this passion to empower patients and break out of the confines that the medical system and insurance companies have put on our communities.
